Innovate Recycle gathers momentum, Northampton, UK

Innovate Recycle, the first UK dedicated carpet recycling plant recycles carpet into pellets for the injection moulding sector. The target material is post-industrial and post-consumer DRY cut-pile action-backed polypropylene carpet with or without fitter friendly fleece. Delivery is preferred in bales on standard pallets or loose bales. Local companies can deliver loose and bagged with or without pallet.

A zero-gate fee is offered for dry target material delivered into Northampton, and Innovate Recycle now provides a rebate to some of its long-term partners for continuity and quality.
The organisation’s process reclaims polypropylene fibre from waste PP carpet which is then made into PP pellets for the injection moulding sector within the automotive, horticulture and construction sectors.

“We invite proactive partners to work with us,” says Innovate Recycle. “Stay ahead of policy changes, get certification on recycled volumes, increase ESG standards and save on disposal cost.”

In 2026, the organisation is working with a growing list of carpet retailers and installers such as Designer Contracts, H Mears Carpets, JC Flooring Contracts, Corfloors, New Homes Carpeting, New Homes Flooring, Fineweave Carpets, Colourbank and Highdown Carpets. It also has support from buying groups BRM, Flooring One, Greendale, Metro, SMG, helping demonstrate best practice to their memberships. Innovate is working closely with carpet manufacturers Cormar and Abingdon.

“We offer transparency – happy to discuss and test your material, we welcome partners and their clients to site,” the company continues.

“If you’re looking for a better, cost saving, environmental and customer relationship supporting solution for your offcut and end of life carpet, please come to our stand at this May’s INDX National Flooring Show and join our growing movement for change.”
