Alternative announces new MD

Alternative Flooring has announced the appointment of a new Managing Director, with longtime Creative & Marketing Director Lorna Haigh moving into a consultancy role at the same time.

Posting on LinkedIn, the company said: “It’s time for a new chapter at Alternative Flooring. We’re excited to welcome Stephen Brooks as our new Managing Director, bringing with him more than 25 years of experience across manufacturing, distribution and consumer brands.”

Regarding Lorna Haigh, (who The Stocklists spoke to back in March), the company continued: “We’re also celebrating Creative & Marketing Director Lorna Haigh, who after 25 years at Alternative Flooring is moving into a consultancy role. Thankfully, this isn’t goodbye, as Lorna will continue working with the team on creative projects. Lorna has helped shape Alternative Flooring into the brand it is today, championing our “different feels good” spirit and bringing countless ideas to life along the way. We are all very excited for the next chapter of the business.”
