Greendale refines its interior design offering

Greendale focused on the latest evolution of its interior design proposition at this year’s Flooring Show, unveiling iD 3.0 as it continues to refine the offering in response to changing customer demand.

Launched two years ago and refreshed annually since, the initiative has been developed to give interior designers and retailers a more accessible route into Greendale’s product portfolio. The latest update places greater emphasis on softer-touch products, while reducing the proportion of natural-style designs to achieve a better balance across the collection.

The scheme offers access to higher-end brands including Westex, Ulster and ITC, alongside more traditional commercial options. Crucially, it operates separately from Greendale’s main buying group, allowing interior designers and smaller retailers to benefit without committing to full membership.

Greendale explained that the initiative was developed after existing members working in interior design found they were not always making full use of the wider group’s benefits. ID provides a lower-cost alternative, with the potential for businesses to expand their involvement over time.

Rebranding remains a major benefit, helping retailers protect margins by making products less directly comparable with competing offers. Greendale also stocks many of its ranges for direct dispatch, alongside exclusive collections and competitively priced accessories.

While the wider buying group remains steady, Greendale’s focus is on refining its services and adapting to a challenging trading environment. As a member-owned, not-for-profit co-operative, it continues to prioritise value and practical support for its retailers.
