Innovate Recycle, the first UK dedicated carpet recycling plant, recycles carpet into pellets for the injection moulding sector. The plant is increasing capacity to recycle 20,000t/year. Target material is post-industrial and post-consumer DRY cut-pile action-backed polypropylene carpet. Delivery is preferred in bales on standard pallets or loose bales. Local companies can deliver loose on pallets.
A zero-gate fee is offered for dry target material delivered into Northampton, and the organisation now provides a rebate to some of its long-term partners for continuity and quality.
Its process reclaims polypropylene fibre from waste PP carpet which is then made into PP pellets for injection moulding sector within the automotive, horticulture and construction sectors.
