After more than 60 years of Harrogate taking prime position in the UK flooring calendar, this month will see the first ever edition of The Flooring Show South, held at Sandown Park in Surrey, 15-16 April. The new show aims to bring the original event’s convivial atmosphere and broad trade appeal to a new audience, with many familiar exhibitors supporting the new debut.
Speaking with The Stocklists back in January, The Flooring Show Sales Director Suzy Makin said: “Harrogate is what I would call the Mothership, and this is more like the smaller brother or sister.” More specifically, she continued, while the Harrogate exhibition has a large focus on informative content about actually building and fitting floors, the Sandown show will be more product-focused, catering particularly to suppliers looking for the newest, most cutting-edge launches.
Open from 9am-5:30pm on Wednesday 15 and 9am-4:30pm, The Flooring Show South will provide ample opportunity for retailers and fitters to survey the latest and greatest in flooring when it opens its doors later this month. We look forward to seeing you all there!
