Condor Group took its usual spot at the Auberge du Pêcheur hotel for Flanders Flooring Days 2026, occupying several different rooms with its different brands, including Condor Carpets, Intercarpet, Vebe, Edel Carpets and more.
This year, the company highlighted a development specifically for the UK market, currently named Spectrum. Aimed to launch by this year’s Harrogate Flooring Show, Spectrum is a heavy, polypropylene carpet in a range of neutral shades, and its reception at the show was reportedly very positive. “Spectrum is a soft polypropylene with some soft heathers to it, so it’s more visually interesting, and ultimately it’s just a classic carpet” explained Kim Koning, Condor’s Marketing Manager. “Feedback on it has been fantastic. It has a beautifully clean colour bank and we’re planning on adding another three or four colours before launch.”
Catering to the higher-end residential market, the group’s Intercarpet brand offers a variety of qualities in wool and wool-blends. This year, Intercarpet showcased a number of attractive herringbone wool designs, however the company was particularly keen to highlight its ability to manufacture custom orders using its Jacquard machines. “You can make any kind of pattern with it,” the company explained to The Stocklists. “We have unlimited capacity to make new designs, even in smaller quantities.” One example saw Intercarpet taking a photo of a chair and matching its design in the carpet, demonstrating the design flexibility offered to customers.
Of course, Condor remains very proud of its more affordable ranges, like Carousel, which has been one of the industry’s most popular products for over 20 years. “Practically all shops have Carousel somewhere in the store,” says Kim.
