Condor Group returned to its usual spot in the Majestic Hotel for this year’s Flooring Show, presenting its huge range of products to customers new and old. Operating in more than 100 countries worldwide and producing 200 million sq m of flooring per year, the headline offerings from the company at this year’s show were scale and reliability. In spite of any disruptions there may be in the flooring industry at large, Condor Group remains one of Europe’s most trusted and reputable suppliers of flooring across different categories and price levels.
At this year’s show, the group once again showcased many of its brands, including of course the flagship Condor Carpets business, as well as Edel Carpets, VEBE, Condor Grass and Timzo. Across these distinct brands, Condor is able to provide for “the finest hotels and homes, upholstery for the finest car brands, FIFA-certified artifical turf or needle felt in complex infrastructure works”.
Of course, with Condor’s enormous scale comes an increased level of scrutiny and responsibility, and the company ensures it limits its impact on the environment as much as possible through several initiatives. While its ultimate goal is to ensure the entire group only produces fully circular products, it can already currently boast 30% recycled plastic in its packaging, 100% recycled RPET felt carpet backing, more than 60% recycled polyester fibres as well as 50% of its electricity consumption being energy neutral.
Condor Group’s wide and diverse product range, combined with its responsible approach to manufacturing, once again made it one of the stand-out exhibitors at this year’s Harrogate.
