Brintons announces 2025 results

Brintons Carpets has released its financial results for the year to October 2025. The company’s revenue for the period was £72.7m, down from the previous period’s £73.m, however gross profit rose from 42.8% to 45.2%.

Discussing the results, the Chief Executive Officer, Duccio Baldi, described it as: “A solid year performance against a challenging macro-economic environment and the impact of the new Administrations’ economic strategy in the US.” He said the introduction of tariffs caused “concern and instability” across the company’s customer base, resulting in fragmented order patterns. He also pointed to the continued cost of living crisis in the UK as a factor dampening consumer spending.

Baldi continued: “Cognisant of general inflationary pressures across material and labour wage costs, the business has focused on a number of key initiatives to increase productivity to improve margins, and it is pleasing to note an increase in our overall gross margin to 45.2%, up from last years’ 42.8%. The KPI’s for the year remained positive with gross revenues of £72.7m and earnings of £10.4m.”

Looking ahead, the company states that “the forward pipeline of projects remains healthy, as customers continue to plan projects to meet the back log generated by the pandemic”. It does however highlight the hospitality and cruise sectors as its main areas of growth, notably leaving out the residential market, which continues to be challenging in 2026.
