Alternative to bring 10 collections together at INDX

Leading British flooring brand Alternative Flooring will showcase 10 newly launched collections at the INDX National Flooring Show this year, bringing its latest innovations directly to the retail market.

The collections span a broad design offering, from bold, statement stripes and premium wools to innovative faux materials. A key highlight is Echo-CoRE, the UK’s first fully recyclable carpets, rugs and runners for the home, designed to set a new standard in sustainable, stylish flooring. This pioneering launch sets a benchmark toward a circular approach to buying, using, and repurposing carpets, rugs and runners, addressing growing consumer demand for environmentally responsible home products.

Stripes continue to play a leading role, with the Wool Candy Stripe collection embracing larger-scale patterns and confident colour combinations across three designs – Pinwheel, Cane and Lollipop – all crafted using 100% wool fibre. New additions to the Margo Selby Carnival Stripes collection also mark ten years of collaboration with the acclaimed British textile designer.

Elsewhere, the brand builds on the success of Anywhere Ca-rPET with the introduction of a new intricate diamond design, alongside the launch of Velvet Ca-rPET – a plush faux floor covering with fibres made from post-consumer plastic bottles and manufactured using renewable energy. This new range triumphs in combining contemporary design with sustainable production.
