The art of inspiration – Karndean Designflooring

Karndean Designflooring celebrated their 50th anniversary in some style in Solihull with the impressive debut of its expanded Van Gogh collection, adding authentic new designs from around the world to create a class-leading range in wood and stone.
This flagship collection now comprises 70 options, adding stone decors for the first time as well as the latest wood decors in on-trend chevron and herringbone designs and the emphasis is on character and authenticity.
Karndean Designflooring is famous for its attention to detail,
taking its inspiration for new styles from real samples such
as natural wood from a school in San Diego and a railway
station in the Scottish Highlands and marbles from the
mountain quarries in Italy.

Nine new wood designs join Van Gogh with the warmth of the new Glenmore Oak and Croftmore Oak option and stylish, warmer greys in the Neutral Brushed Oak. Cooler tones for the continuing popularity of grey interiors is reflected in Silver Farmouse Oak.
The introduction of 15 new stone designs into the Van Gogh collection for the first time continues that fashionable theme of cool, clean tones in marbles and slate as well as warmer terracotta.

Van Gogh is now available in two formats, glue-down and rigid core, to offer maximum flexibility for both installation over varying sub-floors and for design configurations that mix decors for inset features and borders.

The Solihull stand showed off many of the inspirational new roomset photographs that are being used in marketing and point-of-sale to support the launch of the expanded collection.
The company’s Floorstyle visualiser tool lets consumers and retailers explore all the possibilities of the new collection and all the other iconic ranges from Karndean Designflooring.
