Tempting textures – Cormar Carpets

Wool was front and centre on the Cormar stand with key developments reflecting the increasing interest in natural fibres. The company has brought together three quite different offers in a “Wool Textures” lectern, demonstrating Cormar’s instinct and ability to appeal to the widest range of consumer interest.
First is the very new Fair Isle, a quarter gauge 3-ply wool loop
heavyweight. This is a chunky, well-textured level loop with an attractively subtle heathered appearance. This is at the premium end of the Cormar portfolio but it’s very affordable for the quality carpet it is.

Second up is Malabar Two-Fold, a popular smart textured
100% wool loop pile first launched in 2001, recoloured in 2016,
and now enjoying a new makeover. Three colours come out
and four enter the 10-shade mix with soft neutrals and
warmer greys in two designs.
Completing the trio is Pimilico, a wool 50/50 launched last year as an affordable entry-level loop with a neat, elegant texture.

On the man-made displays, there was a debut for Sumptuous Trinity in 14 tri-colour heather tones and the recently relaunched Primo Ultra range.
