This year’s Flooring Show in Harrogate was one of the busiest yet for the UK Sustainable Flooring Alliance (UKSFA). Meeting members face-to-face and making new contacts across the flooring, hospitality, and construction industries was a productive way to connect and communicate about key issues.
Highlights from The Flooring Show 2025 include;
– Strong positive feedback on our rebrand from Carpet Recycling UK (CRUK), to UKSFA
– Praise for our active Working Groups and renewed energy
– Clear message to “…keep up the momentum.”
UKSFA’s focus remains on:
– Influencing policy
– Championing circular design
– Strengthening sustainable flooring operations
“Amid challenging economic conditions, members reaffirmed UKSFA’s vital role in supporting businesses. We also discussed going back to basics on concepts like circular economy and recyclability; championing products to stay within industry loops,” explained the organisation.
“Education, clarity, and collaboration remain central to our mission. We left Harrogate energised and ready to build on our progress.”
