UKSFA Conference & Awards 2026 set to unite the flooring sector

The countdown is officially on for the UK Sustainable Flooring Alliance Conference & Awards 2026, taking place on 1–2 July at Voco St John’s Hotel, Solihull.

Recognised as the flagship annual event for the sustainable flooring sector, the conference will once again bring together manufacturers, suppliers, recyclers, specifiers and sustainability leaders for two days of collaboration, networking and industry insight.

Now in its 17th year, formerly under the Carpet Recycling UK (CRUK) banner, the event continues to attract decision makers from across the UK, Europe and beyond, all focused on driving meaningful change across the flooring supply chain.

Under this year’s theme, ‘Turning Insight into Action – Collaboration for Change’, delegates can expect practical discussions, future-focused thinking and valuable opportunities to connect with peers shaping the industry’s next chapter.

Insight and collaboration

Among the headline speakers confirmed are internationally respected sustainability experts Dr Robert Peoples, Executive Director of CARE (Carpet America Recovery Effort), and Dr Hans Peter Breuer, Managing Director of GUT/ECRA. Their sessions will explore the future of carpet recycling, extended producer responsibility, circular economy legislation, sustainability policy and the evolving regulatory landscape across Europe.

Alongside these keynote presentations, the Conference will feature a strong programme of interactive panel discussions, workshops and practical industry sessions focused on the key challenges facing the flooring sector.

Topics across the two-day event will include sustainability legislation, environmental reporting, product transparency, green claims, takeback schemes, flooring waste recovery and circular economy innovation. Expert speakers will explore important industry frameworks such as LCAs, EPDs and Digital Product Passports, while workshop sessions will examine how businesses can build trust, improve communication and reduce risk through clear sustainability strategies.

The event will conclude with the UKSFA Awards Dinner, which has been generously sponsored by UKSFA core member, Cormar Carpets. The Awards will celebrate innovation, leadership and sustainability achievements from across the flooring industry.

Secure your place

Open to both members and non-members, the conference provides a unique platform to exchange ideas, discover new approaches to sustainability and gain practical knowledge from experts leading change internationally.

The full line-up and complete list of speakers is available on the new UKSFA website, where visitors can also book tickets, explore sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, and secure accommodation packages before rooms sell out. With strong interest already building, early booking is strongly recommended for anyone planning to attend this important industry event.
