The response from Abingdon Flooring was to cleverly adapt the ethos of comfort combined with ground-breaking irregular flecked detail, replicating the design of a traditional carpet.
Wild Silk is a cut pile saxony carpet that’s created using 100% bleach-cleanable polyester. While the manmade process ensures consistency, Abingdon Flooring adapted its manufacturing process to incorporate a unique fleck detail that doesn’t repeat. This perfectly recreates the natural variations found in Berber styles to provide a one-of-a-kind look.
Each of the twelve colour options has been chosen to tie in with key colour trends, while the fleck detail is depicted in contrasting colour ways. This means homeowners can easily match Wild Silk to contemporary interior schemes, while benefitting from a carpet that helps to disguise spills and dirt. Its heavy-weight construction lends itself well to heavy domestic settings such as hallways and staircases.
