Chorley, 27 May 2025 – Kelmore, a fast-growing manufacturer of high-performance products for the tiling and flooring industries, has been crowned Manufacturing Start-Up of the Year at Insider Media’s Made in the North West Awards 2025.
The prestigious event, held in Manchester on 22 May, brought together the region’s most innovative and forward-thinking manufacturers to celebrate excellence, resilience, and remarkable growth across the sector.
Attending their first awards ceremony since entering the market in February 2024, Kelmore was shortlisted for the Manufacturing Start-Up Award with Production Apprentice Luke Walsh also named as a finalist for Apprentice of the Year.
Kelmore has experienced rapid growth with production output growing by 420% since their first month and over 1,450,000 units sold in the first 12 months of trading.
Operating out of a brand-new 50,000 ft2 state-of-the-art facility in Chorley, Lancashire, the team is now 50 members strong.
Judges praised Kelmore’s “world-class standards” and impressive trajectory, noting the company’s strong culture and people-first approach:
