INDX National Flooring Show returns for 2026

The INDX National Flooring Show will return to Solihull’s Cranmore Park Exhibition Centre on the 10-11 May for its third year. Organised by Associated Independent stores, a leading UK buying group for fashion, home, and leisure, the show serves as a hub for the flooring retail industry.

Reportedly following feedback from exhibitors and visitors, the 2026 edition of the show will see its doors open on a Sunday for the first time. This is aimed to allow more visitors to attend the show without having to sacrifice any valuable time at work. There will also be an informal drinks reception held on Sunday evening, allowing exhibitors and visitors to connect in a relaxed setting.

The move to a Sunday–Monday schedule aligns the flooring show with other successful INDX categories, says Jane Bartlett, Director of Events at Cranmore Park: “We successfully introduced the National Flooring Show to the INDX portfolio in 2024, and the independent retail sector has been quick to support it. The new weekend option for 2026 will create an even stronger environment for successful business to take place.”

Although trading conditions have been notably difficult in 2026, it is encouraging that this year’s INDX has attracted not only a strong contingent of returning companies, but a clutch of new exhibitors as well.

First-time exhibitors to the show this year will include Bjelin Wood Flooring, J2 Flooring, Premier Flooring Distribution., Measure Square, and Innovate Recycle. Returning brands such as Victoria Carpets & Design Floors and Hugh Mackay will be showcasing their latest carpets, LVT and wood flooring. A full exhibitor list can be found at the end of this feature.

Of course, this past April saw the introduction of The Flooring Show South, and although it’s too early to draw any firm conclusions, all signs point to Harrogate’s sibling show having been a success. It remains to be seen whether this new trade show will have any impact on INDX’s numbers one way or another, but its organisers will be hoping the show’s unique strengths and characteristics bolster its appeal for visitors.

The INDX National Flooring Show is open to all independent retailers (you do not need to be a member of a buying group to attend) and visitor registration can be completed online. As always, The Stocklists team will be in attendance at this year’s INDX Flooring Show, so if you see us, please be sure to say hello!
