Victoria completes CEO transition

Victoria PLC has confirmed that Group Chief Executive Philippe Hamers will step down on 30 June 2026, completing a succession plan first announced last year.

Rather than appointing a direct replacement, the company will move to a divisional leadership structure. Roberto Moreno will continue to oversee the Rugs and North America businesses alongside his group-wide operational responsibilities, while Steve Byrne leads UK Flooring and Francisco Carvajal heads the Ceramics division.

Executive Chairman Geoff Wilding said the structure would strengthen accountability and sharpen execution as the business focuses on cash generation, deleveraging and operational improvements.

Hamers, who has led the group for nine years, will remain involved as a director of Victoria’s Australian business and chairman of the UK Flooring division. He said the company’s focus remains on cost reduction, productivity improvements and strengthening cash generation following several challenging years for the flooring sector.
