Likewise Group says trading remains ahead of expectations, with like-for-like revenue up 16.5% in the year to 31 May 2026 and May sales increasing 19.1% year-on-year.
The flooring distributor continues to gain market share, supported by positive order intake and ongoing investment across its national infrastructure. A second distribution hub in Leeds is now operational, while an extension at Newport is scheduled to come online in July, adding storage and cutting capacity. Valley has also expanded cutting operations in Derby.
Alongside the recent freehold acquisition in Leeds, the group is progressing plans to acquire a 60,000sq ft distribution hub in the East Midlands. Likewise is also expanding its delivery fleet, which is expected to exceed 160 vehicles during 2026.
The company says investments made over the past five years, together with projects due for completion this year, will provide capacity to materially exceed its £250m sales revenue target. The board remains confident of meeting market expectations for 2026 while continuing to focus on margin improvement and future growth.
