Although it is still some way off, preparations for DOMOTEX 2028 are already gaining strong momentum, organisers say. Following the show’s repositioning as the “Home of Flooring & Interior Finishing”, around 100 international manufacturers have already secured their place during the initial registration phase.
From 17 to 20 January 2028, DOMOTEX will continue to drive forward its strategic development at the exhibition grounds in Hanover. Organisers say the show’s new format aims to place flooring within the wider context of interior design, rather than treating it as an isolated product. With many trade shows struggling in the current economic environment, this pivot is hoped to allow DOMOTEX to secure more support from a diversified group of exhibitors.
“Many companies achieved outstanding trade fair results this year and have already registered again for the next edition due to the event’s great success. It is clearly evident that the industry supports the new direction of DOMOTEX” says Annette Levy, Project Director of DOMOTEX.
In 2028 DOMOTEX will once again emphasise the connection between flooring, walls, ceilings, and interior finishing, while consistently expanding its portfolio around holistic space concepts and further evolving its format in line with current market and design trends.
The successful partnership established in 2026 with the European parquet industry federation (FEP) will be continued and further strengthened. The European parquet industry will once again be given a prominent platform at DOMOTEX, showcasing its products and innovations alongside other leading international manufacturers.
