Stainfree Aristocat builds on Abingdon Flooring’s Stainfree Sophisticat, a carpet that’s enjoyed success for its well-chosen colour palette and its balance between a luxury feel, easy living performance and great value. Stainfree Aristocat comes with the same 10th gauge quality and Silk Tech polypropylene yarn, this time offering homeowners a palette of 17 heathered colourways.


Neutral, natural shades such as gazelle, arctic fox and fern green are joined by bolder hues in blue lagoon, rosehip and antique gold for a palette that continues the welcome return to colour. From simple and sophisticated backdrops to bolder and more engaging colours, Aristocat captures the hottest shades of the moment.

Industry body unveils “Plan for Growth” to Government

The British Furniture Confederation (BFC), the public affairs umbrella body of furniture and beds, furnishings and flooring sector trade associations, has unveiled its new Plan for Growth. The document is said to support BFC’s advocacy across four key pillars: skills and education; trade and exports; standards and regulations; and the environment and circular economy. It has been developed over the past few months, the organisation says, evolving from a combination of position papers written by the associations’ executives and a comprehensive survey of their collective members.

Furniture spend up 2.4% with Barclaycard
