Harvey Maria is launching a new collection of decorative luxury vinyl tiles from celebrated British designer, Dee Hardwicke.
Pattern includes four designs, each sharing a geometric flower motif adapted from an original ceramic illustration. The meadow-inspired design, with its heritage colour palette, creates a casual, rustic feel that’s suited to both modern and traditional interiors.
Pattern’s designer, Dee Hardwicke, is a mixed-media artist and also the creator of Harvey Maria’s Lattice Collection. “I’m really inspired by the creativity, ingenuity and craftsmanship embodied by the Garden City pioneers and the Arts & Crafts movement at the turn of the twentieth century,” Dee explained. “My new Pattern flooring design draws on that heritage and on the idea of beauty in simplicity. The geometric flower motif will be equally at home in the hallway of a beautiful Victorian townhouse as in a contemporary apartment or a country cottage, so it’s incredibly versatile. It’s also a lovely way of bringing the outside in and of being able to enjoy a little bit of the natural world whether you live in the city or the countryside.”
Pattern colourways include Larkspur, Warm Terracotta, Meadow Green and Ashen. Larkspur has a white motif and border, with golden highlights on a classic ceramic blue background; the colourway captures the essence of hand-painted Moroccan tiles. Warm Terracotta combines a golden motif and frame, on an earthy, clay-toned background. Meadow Green is a very British striking green tone, and Ashen – the most contemporary design - combines a white and smokey grey palette.
As well as bringing pattern and colour to an interior, the new designs are also exceptionally durable and easy to maintain. They provide a waterproof, slip resistant and comfortable floor finish that can be laid with underfloor heating. Pattern is offered with a lifetime residential warranty and is suitable for all rooms, including kitchens, bathrooms, boot rooms and conservatories.
