Flooring is soaring, says Harrogate
The Flooring Show, Harrogate, exceeded pre-pandemic visitor numbers, attracting 3,160 buyers over the three days of the exhibition, organisers Ocean Media has announced this week,
And there are plans to grow the show by up to 20% next year.
The event took place on 17-19 September and the national reach of The Flooring Show has never been more evident, with an increase in visitors from all regions of the UK.
Most notably, the exhibition saw an 85% increase in visitors from the East of England, as well as a 49% rise in visitors from the South East, South West and West Midlands.
There was also a 13% increase in the number of suppliers exhibiting at The Flooring Show, with 75% already choosing to rebook their involvement for the following year.
Event Director Alex Butler commented “this year’s high rebook is testament to how well The Flooring Show performs for the industry, with the average exhibitor expecting to take orders of £155,000 as a result of the exhibition”.
With demand higher than it’s ever been for stands, the organisers of The Flooring Show are opening Hall Q which will allow next year’s show to grow by a further 20%.
The show saw buyers from an impressive line-up of national and independent retailers, including Tapi, Carpetright, Wickes, ScS, and B&Q.
The market leading exhibition returns to Harrogate on 15-17 September 2024.
